Calvin Harris’ new “My Way” easily claims pop radio’s most added honor.
The single, which premiered Friday, was added by a whopping 111 Mediabase-monitored pop stations this week. The count more than doubles that of the next-most added song.
The list of first week supporters, impressively, includes all reporting pop stations from the Top 5 radio markets. The achievement is decidedly rare.
As an example, even Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” — which received 149 total adds in conjunction with last week’s impact — needed until this week to close out the Top 5 markets.
Picked up by 44 Mediabase-monitored stations, Sia’s “The Greatest (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” registers as second-most added. Ariana Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” takes third with 42 adds, while Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault” lands in fourth place with 29 pickups.
An add count of 27 slots Kanye West’s “Fade” as fifth-most added.
