Transparent’s Jeffrey Tambor Again Wins Emmy For Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy

Last year, Jeffrey Tambor won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

This year, the “Transparent” actor again accepted the prize.

Tambor beat out Anthony Anderson, Will Forte, Aziz Ansari, William H. Macy, and Thomas Middleditch for his second consecutive award.

In his acceptance speech, Tambor asked the industry to give transgender actors and actresses a chance.

Emanating from Los Angeles, the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards are in progress.
