The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Stays #1 In UK, Zara Larsson Scores Top Debut

Last week, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” reached #1 on the official UK singles chart.

This week, it retains that throne.

The international smash generated 92,000 in combined weekly UK sales. Up 12,000 from last week’s mark, the tally gives “Closer” a 31,000 unit edge over DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You (featuring Justin Bieber).”

The Snake-Bieber collaboration retains its runner-up position on this week’s chart. Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ)” holds at #3, while Calum Scott’s “Dancing On My Own” and twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” respectively remain at #4 and #5.

This week’s key movers inside the Top 40:

— Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha’s “In The Name Of Love” rises seven places to #10.
— Olly Murs’ “You Don’t Know Love” jumps twelve places to #15.
— Ellie Goulding’s “Still Falling For You” ascends seven places to #19.
— Ariana Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” rockets forty-eight places to #24.
— Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault” debuts at #30 (top debut).
— Offaiah’s “Trouble” soars twenty-nine places to #31.
— Matoma & Becky Hill’s “False Alarm” rises eleven places to #35.
— Digital Farm Animals & Cash Cash’s “Millionaire (featuring Nelly)” enjoys a six-place lift to #36.
— Cheat Codes & Dante Klein’s “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” advances five places to #38.
— Mike Perry’s “The Ocean (featuring Shy Martin)” climbs two places to #39.
