Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” Reaches 3X Platinum; “Leave The Night On,” “House Party,” “Break Up” 2X

Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me” reached #1 on this week’s Mediabase and Billboard country radio charts. To celebrate the achievement and thank radio for its support, MCA Nashville ran full-page advertisements in this week’s Country Aircheck and Billboard Country Update newsletters.

Hunt’s success at radio is not, however, the only focus of MCA Nashville’s advertisement. The label also confirms that all five of Hunt’s official “Montevallo” singles have earned new RIAA certifications.

Hunt’s “Take Your Time” remains his most-certified effort. According to the ad, the smash hit is now triple platinum in the United States.

Under the RIAA’s digital singles program, a triple platinum certification confirms a US unit total of 3 million. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Leave The Night On,” “Break Up In A Small Town,” and “House Party” recently ascended to double platinum status (2 million units), while “Make You Miss Me” is officially platinum (1 million).
