NBC Releases Audio For Carrie Underwood’s New Sunday Night Football Song, Confirms Players In Video

Those hoping to hear Carrie Underwood’s new Sunday Night Football theme will not have to wait until the regular NFL season kicks off. NBC made the audio available Monday morning.

Available here, the new theme is entitled “Oh, Sunday Night.” It is based on “Somethin’ Bad,” the duet Carrie Underwood released with Miranda Lambert in 2014.

Underwood worked with the original “Somethin’ Bad” writers — Chris DeStefano, Brett James, and Priscilla Renea — to create the new song.

The new theme will air as part of the Sunday Night Football opening video. NBC confirms that the following NFL players are featured in the clip:
