Beyonce’s “Formation” Wins Video Of The Year At MTV VMAs

Beyonce [Formation]

If Kanye West’s “Famous” had won, would West have interrupted himself to call Beyonce’s video more deserving?

We will never know, because Beyonce’s “Formation” was predictably named Video Of The Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“Formation,” which won for numerous technical categories earlier in the night, beat out “Famous,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Adele’s “Hello,” and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” for the top prize.

The night proved to be a massive one for Beyonce. In addition to winning for “Formation,” Beyonce took home the Best Female Video prize for “Hold Up.” She also stole the show with a live “Lemonade” performance.
