The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Dominates US Spotify, Stays #1 On Weekly Chart

The reign continues for The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey),” which tops the weekly US Spotify chart for a third consecutive week.

This week’s #1 position comes thanks to the song’s largest margin of victory yet. “Closer” received an impressive 13.011 million US Spotify streams during the August 19-25 tracking week. The count tops that of the #2 song by more than 4 million streams.

Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ),” again that #2 song, received 8.926 million weekly US streams.

Up one place, twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” moves into the #3 slot with 8.012 million. Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” drops a spot to #4 with 7.621 million, while fellow Drake song “Too Good (featuring Rihanna)” holds at #5 courtesy its 7.056 million streams.
