This past December, “Nothin’ Like You” — the third and final single from Dan + Shay’s “Where It All Began” — reached #1 at country radio.

This week, “From The Ground Up” — the first single from the duo’s “Obsessed” — does the same. The hit, which gained cultural prominence in part due to its inclusion on “The Bachelorette,” earns #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

Up two places from last week’s position, “From The Ground Up” seizes the throne from Jon Pardi’s “Head Over Boots.” The Pardi tune falls to #7 on this week’s chart.

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “From The Ground Up” also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played and most heard song for the August 14-20 tracking week.

The single received approximately 8,409 Mediabase-monitored spins (+660) and ~56.265 million Mediabase-monitored audience impressions this week.

Like it did last week, Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me” claims the runner-up spot. Kelsea Ballerini’s “Peter Pan” rises two places to #3, while Jake Owen’s “American Country Love Song” holds steady at #4. Up three places, Justin Moore’s “You Look Like I Need A Drink” grabs #5.
