After rising to #1 on last week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart, Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go” falls down this week.

Its descent allows Cage The Elephant’s “Trouble” to reach #1.

Up three places, “Trouble” earns #1 on the strength of its ~3,009 tracking period spins (+255).

A one-place rise brings twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” into the runner-up position. It received ~2,922 spins during the August 14-20 tracking week (-128).

The aforementioned “Way Down We Go” is #3 with ~2,918 tracking period plays (-128). Blink-182’s “Bored To Death” also falls two places; it moves from #2 to #4 with a weekly spin count of ~2,817 (-81).

Spun ~2,491 times during the official tracking period (+38), Bishop Briggs’ “River” rises one place to a new peak of #5.
