KIIARA’s “Gold” Reaches Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

Kiiara [Jimmy Fontaine | Atlantic]

Late Thursday night, KIIARA’s “Gold” cracked the Top 10 on the US iTunes single sales chart.

It remains there as of 4:15AM ET Friday morning.

The breakthrough hit is currently #5 on the all-genre chart. Only The Chainsmokers’ #1 “Closer,” twenty one pilots’ #2 “Heathens,” Shawn Mendes’ #3 “Treat You Better,” and Major Lazer’s #4 “Cold Water” hold higher positions on the chart.

In addition to its buzz and radio exposure, “Gold” is benefiting from a discounted price point on iTunes. The single is currently available for $0.69.

“Gold” was officially certified gold in the United States last month. It has thus far peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100.
