WWE Universal & Women’s Champions Set To Appear On Monday’s “Good Morning America”

ABC confirms that WWE’s inaugural Universal Champion and reigning Women’s Champion will both appear on the August 22 “Good Morning America.”

What it cannot yet confirm is who those specific champions will be.

The answer will not come until Sunday night’s Summerslam event. Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will be wrestling for the Universal title, while reigning Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will attempt to successfully defend against Charlotte.

In addition to the two WWE champions, Monday’s “Good Morning America” will feature Tyler Perry, Noah Galloway, chef Bill Durney, and musical guest Old Dominion.

Tuesday, August 23 – Actors Tika Sumpter and Parker Sawyers (“South Side with You”); a performance by rising country music artist Drake White; award-winning songwriter Linda Thompson on her new book (“A Little Thing Called Life”); television host Joy Behar on ABC News’ primetime special ‘The View: 20 Years In the Making,’ airing tonight

Wednesday, August 24 – Chef and television personality Sandra Lee with healthy back-to-school lunches; a performance by the hit country band Florida Georgia Line; “GMA”’s Workout Wednesday: Sebastien Lagree with his inspiring and popular fitness method

Thursday, August 25 – A performance by country singer Kenny Chesney; trainer and “Extreme Weight Loss” host Chris Powell with exercise tips to keep kids active during the day; from the runway to the wedding aisle: latest trends on the red carpet making their way to bridal fashion

Friday, August 26 – Country superstar Jason Aldean performs as part of “GMA”’s summer concert series in Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield; actress Kim Dickens (“Fear the Walking Dead”)
