Update: MTV confirms that Nick Jonas will be performing “Bacon” at this year’s Video Music Awards. Ty Dolla $ign, who is featured on the track, will accompany Jonas on stage.

Last year, Nick Jonas performed during the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.
This year, he will perform during the main broadcast.
Early Wednesday afternoon, MTV confirmed Jonas as the latest addition to its VMAs performer lineup.
Jonas joins a bill that also includes Video Vanguard Award winner Rihanna and Britney Spears (with G-Eazy).
