Meghan Trainor & Yo Gotti’s “Better” Receiving Early Pop Airplay In Visalia, Louisville, Baltimore, SF

Meghan Trainor’s “Better (featuring Yo Gotti)” does not officially impact pop radio until August 30, but it is already receiving airplay on a handful of pop stations.

Key early supporters include Visalia’s Hitz 104.9, Louisville’s 99.7 DJX, Baltimore’s Mix 106-5 and San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9.

According to Mediabase, Hitz 104.9 played the song a whopping 31 times during the seven days between August 10 and 16. DJX offered 25 spins, while Mix 106-5 and WiLD 94.9 respectively played the song 19 and 9 times.

Also set to impact hot adult contemporary and rhythmic radio during the last month of August, “Better” is the third single from Trainor’s “Thank You.” It follows “Me Too,” which peaked at #11 on the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart and #12 on the pop listing.
