iHeartRadio Announces Kehlani’s “CRZY” As New “On The Verge” Selection

Monday morning, iHeartRadio officially announced two new selections for its “On The Verge” program.

One is Judah & The Lion’s “Take It All Back.”

The other is Kehlani’s “CRZY.”

In addition to branding support for the artist, “On The Verge” provides songs with guaranteed airplay on the iHeartMedia stations within a designed format.

iHeart did not specify whether the “CRZY” airplay boost will apply at rhythmic or urban radio (or both), and a look at airplay data does not provide obvious clarity. “CRZY” presently ranks higher at rhythmic (Mediabase’s #45 song) than it does at urban (#59), but it is off to a good start at both formats. It also received more new airplay at urban than it did at rhythmic this week.

iHeartRadio stations rank among its top supporters at both formats.

What is clear, however, is that “On The Verge” should assist “CRZY” in making a real impact as the summer of 2016 enters its final stretch.
