James Bay [ABC]

James Bay’s relaunched “Hold Back The River” continues to move closer to its original Top 15 peak at hot adult contemporary radio.

This week, it blasts into the format’s Top 20.

Spun ~1,249 times during the August 7-13 tracking period (+197), “Hold Back The River” grabs #18 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Despite enduring a sizable loss in weekly airplay, The Strumbellas’ “Spirits” also enters the Top 20.

The former alternative radio #1 rises one place to #20 on the strength of its ~1,191 weekly spins (-245).
