Ratings: “UnREAL” Holds In Demo, Adds Viewers For Season Finale

UnReal Finale [Lifetime]

Monday’s “UnREAL” had the benefit of being the second season finale. It had the difficulty of airing opposite the Olympics.

Amid those clashing forces, Monday’s episode matched last week’s series low adults 18-49 rating. It did, however, enjoy a substantial gain in total viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “UnREAL” drew a 0.18 adults 18-49 rating and 481,000 total viewers. Last week’s episode drew the same 0.18 rating but only 411,000 viewers.

The discrepancy reflects an older skew. The same is true of the “Devious Maids” season finale.

Leading into “UnREAL,” Monday’s “Devious Maids” drew a 0.26 adults 18-49 rating and 859,000 total viewers. Younger-skewing, last week’s episode posted a stronger 0.28 rating but a notably weaker 784,000 viewership figure.
