Trent Harmon’s “There’s A Girl” Reaches #58 At Country Radio; Lauren Alaina’s “Road” #65

Songs by an “American Idol” winner and an “American Idol” runner-up make gains at country radio this week.

“There’s A Girl,” the debut country radio single from season fifteen winner Trent Harmon, officially ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s #58 song this week. It was #64 last week.

Harmon’s debut country radio single received 399 spins during the July 24-30 tracking period, but it is worth noting that the Mediabase country panel ranks songs based on a proprietary points system (spins are assigned a point value based on the size of the market in which they were received) rather than raw spin count.

Season ten winner Lauren Alaina concurrently improves to #65 with “Road Less Traveled.” The song, which was #70 last week, received 264 Mediabase-monitored spins this week.
