Major Lazer, DJ Snake & MØ’s “Lean On” Certified 4X Platinum In The US

While the spotlight is now on Major Lazer’s new single “Cold Water,” the EDM act’s 2015 hit is still racking up achievements.

On July 15, the global smash went quadruple platinum in the United States.

The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 4 million. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Lean On,” which also credits DJ Snake and MØ as featured artists (DJ Snake is sometimes identified as a co-lead), peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Headline Planet ranked the song at #2 on its list of the best pop hits of 2015.
