Major Lazer’s “Cold Water,” Katy Perry’s “Rise,” Kungs’ “This Girl” Added By Chicago’s B96

Major Lazer & MØ [NBC]

Major Lazer’s new Justin Bieber and MØ collaboration, Katy Perry’s NBC Olympics anthem, and Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ international sensation have all been added by Chicago’s B96.

Reporting in conjunction with the July 26 pop radio add board, the influential Chicago station confirms that it has picked up Major Lazer’s “Cold Water,” Katy Perry’s “Rise,” and Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl.”

The “Cold Water” add is effectively an immediate one; the song made its official premiere this past Friday. “Rise” debuted last week and “impacted” in conjunction with the July 19 add board. “This Girl” also impacted on July 19.

Headline Planet’s complete pop radio add recap will be posted by 7PM ET Tuesday. “Cold Water” is expected to receive the week’s “most added” honor.
