Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Declines This Week

Scream [MTV]

The latest edition of MTV’s “Scream” suffered week-to-week dips in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s episode drew a 0.20 adults 18-49 rating and 395,000 total viewers.

The numbers trail the 0.22 rating and 445,000 viewer figure drawn by last week’s telecast.

“Scream” was an underwhelming ratings performer in its first season, and its numbers have considerably weakened in season two. The most-watched second season installment drew a viewership sum of 496,000; that figure trails the 554,000 drawn by the least-watched first season episode.

The show has, however, picked up since returning to its Tuesday at 10PM timeslots. The 6/13 and 6/20 episodes, which aired at 11PM on Monday (and without “Teen Mom” lead-in support) drew respective viewership sums of 348,000 and 271,000.
