Updated Ratings: “Adventures In Babysitting” Ranks As 2016’s Top Cable Show With Kids, Tweens

With live+7 data now available, Disney Channel touts “Adventures In Babysitting” as 2016’s #1 cable telecast with the kid and tween demographics.

The remake, which was the 100th installment in the Disney Channel Original Movies franchise, additionally ranks as the year’s #1 cable movie in terms of total viewership.

On a live+7 basis, the June 24 “Adventures” premiere drew what Disney reports as 1.9 million kids 6-11, 2.4 million kids 2-11 and 1.7 million tweens 9-14. All three figures are the best drawn by a cable program this year.

The initial episode drew a total of 4.8 million live+7 viewers, positioning “Adventures In Babysitting” as the year’s most watched cable movie.

Combined viewership for the June 24 premiere and seven encores amounts to 15 million, with 7 million falling into the 6-14 segment.

“Adventures” also drove 3.1 million consumer engagements via video-on-demand and the Disney Channel app.
