Rihanna’s “Needed Me” Officially Earns #1 At Urban Radio

Making good on the mid-week projection, Rihanna’s “Needed Me” officially ascends to #1 on this week’s Mediabase urban airplay chart.

Rihanna’s “ANTI” single earned ~4,573 spins during the June 26-July 2 tracking week. Up 182 from last week’s count, the tally thrusts “Needed Me” from #2 to #1 on the chart.

“Needed Me” switches places with Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind,” which dips to #2 after one week on top. It was played ~4,337 times this week (-417).

Beyonce’s “Sorry” rises one place to #3, trading places with Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla).” The former received ~4,151 weekly spins (-67), while the latter was played ~4,079 times (-266).

Desiigner’s “Panda” holds at #5 with ~3,549 tracking week spins (-268).
