“Preacher,” “Ride With Norman Reedus” Post Ratings Gains This Week

While neither bounced back to its June 12 level, AMC’s “Preacher” and “Ride With Norman Reedus” both outperformed last week’s episodes.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Preacher” drew a 0.49 adults 18-49 rating and 1.43 million total viewers. The numbers represent gains from the 0.43 adults 18-49 rating and 1.14 million viewership figure drawn last week but trail the 0.68 and 1.75 million posted on June 12.

This week’s episode benefited from not having to deal with the mammoth NBA Finals game that opposed last week’s installment. It was not completely without opposition, however. In addition to the “Game Of Thrones” season finale (which outdrew last week’s “GoT” episode), this week’s “Preacher” faced the BET Awards.

“Preacher” led into “Ride With Norman Reedus,” which drew a 0.19 and 0.63 million total viewers. The numbers best the 0.17 rating and 0.47 million viewer mark posted by last week’s broadcast.

The June 12 “Ride” premiere scored a 0.27 rating and 0.75 million total viewers.
