Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer” Impacting Hot AC & AC Radio; Also Issued To Pop Radio

Def Jam confirms that “Sledgehammer,” Rihanna’s single from the “Star Trek: Beyond” soundtrack, is now impacting the hot adult contemporary and adult contemporary formats.

The song was also serviced to pop radio in conjunction with its Monday morning launch.

“Sledgehammer” will increase Rihanna’s already prominent presence at radio. In addition to her own single in “Needed Me,” Rihanna is featured on Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For,” Drake’s “Too Good,” and Mike Will Made It’s “Nothing Is Promised.”
