Columbia Says Ruth B’s “Lost Boy” Has Been Certified Platinum In The US

Ruth B [Bell]

While not yet confirmed on the RIAA’s official website, Ruth B’s breakthrough single “Lost Boy” has apparently attained platinum status.

Columbia announced the certification in its weekly pop radio promotions newsletter.

The platinum certification confirms a digital US unit total of at least 1 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Lost Boy” was within striking distance of the 1 million paid US download mark at the close of the June 17-23 tracking week. By now, it has surely crossed that threshold.
