Ariana Grande’s “Into You” Impacting Hot AC Radio On July 25

Update: After originally confirming an impact date of July 18, Republic now says Ariana Grande’s “Into You” will go for hot adult contemporary adds on July 25.

This may be related to the endurance of previous single “Dangerous Woman,” which is still gaining airplay at the format. The persistence of “Dangerous Woman,” after all, is what resulted in Republic waiting until late June to begin formally pushing “Into You” at pop.

Ariana Grande’s “Into You,” which impacts the pop and rhythmic radio formats this Tuesday, will go for hot adult contemporary adds in mid-July.

Republic confirms a July 18 impact date for the song, which will serve as the second single from Grande’s “Dangerous Woman.”

The title track was up to a peak of #24 on this past week’s Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart.

“Into You,” which has received raves from fans and critics, is already in the Top 40 at pop radio. It is up to #90 at rhythmic.
