Making good on the mid-week projection, Blink-182’s “Bored To Death” ascends to the top spot on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio airplay chart.

The lead “California” single, which is up one place from last week’s position, received ~3,017 spins during the June 19-25 tracking week (+94). It seizes the throne from The Lumineers’ “Ophelia,” which slips to #2 after four weeks on top.

“Ophelia” was played ~2,965 times during the official tracking period (-12)..

Spun ~2,869 times during the official tracking period (+27), Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities” holds at #3 on this week’s chart. Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go” rises one spot to #4 with ~2,533 weekly spins (+79), while a weekly spin count of ~2,361 (+27) thrusts Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” to #5.

“HandClap,” which is making its first Top 5 appearance, was #7 last week.
