After four weeks at #1, The Lumineers’ “Ophelia” is poised to cede its alternative radio throne.

Set to ascend to the top spot on the Mediabase alternative airplay chart is Blink-182’s “Bored To Death.”

The song received 2,135 spins during the first five days of the June 19-25 tracking week. Up 4.1% from last week’s mark, the count slots “Bored To Death” at #1 on Mediabase’s chart.

With building #2 “Ophelia” (2,106 spins, +0.7%) slowing and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ building #3 “Dark Necessities” (2,030, +2.0%) highly unlikely to catch up before the chart goes final, “Bored To Death” should have no trouble retaining its #1 position.

— As Blink-182’s single moves toward #1, Bishop Briggs’ “River” heads for the Top 10.

The format’s current iHeartRadio “On The Verge” single received 1,254 spins during the aforementioned five-day window. The count, which bests the same-time-last-week mark by a healthy 11.9%, slots “River” at #10 on the building chart.

Facing no imminent threat from below, “River” is absolutely poised to hold the Top 10 position through the close of tracking.
