Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” Goes 2X Platinum; “Sremmlife” Certified Platinum

June 17 brought a handful of new RIAA certifications for Rae Sremmurd.

The most notable such certification was a double platinum honor for single “No Type.” The 2x platinum award confirms a digital US unit total of at least 2 million, with each unit being equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The duo additionally received platinum certifications (1 million) for “This Could Be Us,” “Come Get Her,” and “Throw Sum Mo.”

Album “Sremmlife” also received a platinum award, signifying 1 million in US album units. An album unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.
