Drake’s “Views” Reaches Double Platinum In The United States

Drake’s “Views,” which is enjoying a sixth week (and about to enjoy a seventh week) atop the Billboard 200 album consumption chart, has officially been certified by the RIAA.

As of June 9, the smash hit album is now double platinum in the United States.

A double platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. One unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Views” has been particularly dominant from a streaming standpoint; Republic recently announced that the album crossed 1 billion in track streams.
