The new version of CHVRCHES’ “Bury It,” which features Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams, may soon receive a push at pop radio.
The remix was recently made available to pop professionals via the All Access “Cool New Music” digital delivery service. While making a song available to the format is not tantamount to confirming an official impact, it is definitely a signal that label Glassnote is considering such a formal push.
In addition to pop and CHVRCHES’ core alternative format, “Bury It (featuring Hayley Williams)” has also been made available at hot adult contemporary.
Glassnote is currently promoting another multi-format offering in The Strumbellas’ “Spirits.” The song reached #1 at alternative, is rising at hot adult contemporary and set to impact pop this coming Tuesday.
