Tegan and Sara’s “LY2D” Pacing For 24-27K US Sales, Dan+Shay Set For 22-26K

Saturday, US album sales projections emerged for Paul Simon’s “Stranger To Stranger,” Volbeat’s “Seal The Deal & Let’s Boogie” and Maren Morris’ “Hero.”

While they are set to be the best-performing new releases, they are not the week’s only notable newcomers.

Monday, Hits Daily Double provided sales projections for some of those releases.

Tegan and Sara’s “Love You To Death” is reportedly on track to sell 24-27,000 pure US copies during the June 3-9 tracking week. Dan + Shay’s “Obsessed” is pacing for a slightly lesser opening week sales tally of 22-26,000, but it may generate more overall consumption (album sales + track sales/10 + track streams/1500) than the Tegan & Sara album.

Hellyeah’s “Unden!able” is expected to sell 17-19,000 weekly US copies, while Juicy J x Wiz Khalifa x TM88’s “Rude Awakening” should move 11-13,000.

The sales projections for the Volbeat and Morris albums are steady at 40-45,000 and 35-40,000, respectively. Simon’s album is now tracking for 60-65,000 pure US sales.
