Last week, ZAYN’s “Like I Would” and Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” earned Top 50 positions at pop radio.

This week, they will climb into the Top 40.

“Like I Would” received 696 spins during the first four days of the May 29-June 4 tracking week. Up 67.3% from the count at this point last week, the tally positions ZAYN’s second solo single at #36 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

“We Don’t Talk Anymore” follows at #38. It received 647 spins across the week’s first four days, besting the same-time-last-week count by 68.5%.

While it is too early to precisely predict where the songs will land on the official chart, neither will have any trouble staying inside the Top 40 through the close of tracking.

It is actually likely that another song will join them in reaching the Top 40 this week. Ben Rector’s “Brand New” and Rihanna’s “Needed Me” are potential contenders for that extra slot.
