Nick Jonas & Tove Lo Reach #3 on US iTunes Sales Chart; P!nk, Lukas Graham Top 5; Adele #6

Nick Jonas’ “Close (featuring Tove Lo),” which was already rising thanks to discounted pricing, received a further boost thanks to a performance at Sunday’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

It is presently #3 on the US iTunes single sales chart — and the highest charting of the songs featured during the ceremony.

That may change soon, however, as Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” is quickly gaining momentum. The song blasted into the Top 10 following the release of its music video (which premiered during the aforementioned BBMAs) and is already up to #6 on iTunes.

Presently positioned in between “Close” and “Send My Love” are P!nk’s #4 “Just Like Fire” and Lukas Graham’s #5 “7 Years” Both songs were performed at Sunday’s show.

Other BBMA-performed songs with prominent chart positions include Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” at #8, Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” at #10, DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean” at #14, Meghan Trainor’s “NO” at #16, Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” at #19, Blake Shelton’s “Go Ahead And Break My Heart (featuring Gwen Stefani)” at #23, and Ariana Grande’s “Into You” at #32.
