Dustin Lynch’s “Mind Reader” Reaches #1 at Country Radio

Dustin Lynch [ABC]

Dustin Lynch’s “Mind Reader” reaches the apex of Mediabase’s country radio singles chart, becoming the country artist’s third straight (and third career) number one.

Up two places from last week’s position, “Mind Reader” seizes the throne from Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere On A Beach.” Bentley’s tune slips to #3 after two weeks on top.

Lynch previously reached #1 with “Where It’s At (Yep, Yep)” and “Hell Of A Night.”

While “Mind Reader” received the greatest number of Mediabase chart points during the May 15-21 tracking week, it was not the format’s most played song. It received ~8,973 weekly spins from Mediabase-monitored stations (+619), while Old Dominion’s “Snapback” was played ~9,053 times.

“Mind Reader” did, however, reach a wider audience — it earned 62.988 million weekly audience impressions, while “Snapback” garnered 61.683 million.

“Snapback” ultimately holds at #2 on this week’s Mediabase chart. Blake Shelton’s “Came Here To Forget” repeats at #4, while Thomas Rhett’s “T-Shirt” is stationary at #5.
