“SNL” Ratings Slip For Drake’s Return

This weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live,” which featured Drake as host and musical guest, endured a slight week-to-week ratings decline.

According to metered market data shared by NBC, Saturday’s “SNL” drew a 3.9 overnight household rating. It posted a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25/local people meter markets.

Both numbers trail those of last week’s Brie Larson-Alicia Keys episode, which drew a 4.1 in the overnight households and a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating in the people meter markets.

They are also down sharply from the 4.7 overnight household rating and 2.7 major market adults 18-49 rating drawn by the January 18, 2014 episode, which marked Drake’s first appearance in the double-duty role. Seasonal differences, however, prevent that comparison from registering as apples-to-apples.
