Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” Stays #1 at Hot AC Radio; Mike Posner Enters Top 10

Lukas Graham [Chapman Baehler | WBR]

Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” tops the Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart for a third consecutive week.

The breakthrough hit, which was the most recent iHeartRadio “On The Verge” selection at Hot AC, leads this week’s chart thanks to the ~6,704 spins it received during the May 8-14 tracking week. The count trails last week’s mark by 234 but keeps “7 Years” ahead of the pack.

Like “7 Years,” the other Top 5 songs all retain their positions from last week. DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean” is again #2 with ~6,502 weekly plays (+258), while Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” holds at #3 with ~5,813 (-312).

Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away” remains #4 on the strength of its ~5,275 weekly spins (-496), and a spin count of ~4,798 (-465) keeps twenty one pilots’ “Ride” at #5.

While the Top 5 does not welcome a new addition this week, the Top 10 does. Up one place, Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” takes #10 on the strength of its ~3,562 weekly plays (+210).
