In a recent announcement to radio programmers, Interscope’s promotional team confirmed that OneRepublic’s new single “Wherever I Go” would be digitally delivered to radio at 12 AM ET/9PM PT late Thursday.
The song’s actual radio premiere came even sooner.
“Wherever I Go” launched as an “iHeartRadio World Premiere” Thursday afternoon. iHeart accordingly added the song to its official website, and the media network’s Hot AC stations are apparently playing it hourly this afternoon.
Interscope maintains that the song is officially going for Hot AC adds on 5/23 and pop adds on 5/24, but it is clear the song will have established traction at radio long before then.
