Houdini and Doyle [FOX]

Ratings expectations were not high for FOX’s new “Houdini & Doyle.”

Neither was the actual premiere performance. Monday’s episode struggled, ranking as a distant fourth place among broadcast series in the 9PM timeslot.

According to fast national data first posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s series premiere drew a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating and 2.62 million total viewers. The numbers are well below what previous timeslot “Lucifer” drew throughout its first season.

They also markedly trail the numbers posted by lead-in “Gotham” (1.2, 3.61 million)>
