Last week, Daniel Passino survived a trip to the bottom two thanks to the “Instant Save.”
He did not survive his second visit to the bottom group; Passino was eliminated from “The Voice” Tuesday night.
Passino was joined in the bottom two by Team Christina’s Nick Hagelin. Following their performances — Passino performed “Uptown Funk,” Hagelin performed “Thinking Out Loud” — Hagelin commanded a considerably greater share of the Twitter vote and thus won the Instant Save.
Hagelin advances to the Top 9 alongside fellow Team Christina members Alisan Porter and Bryan Bautista, Team Blake members Mary Sarah, Adam Wakefield, and Paxton Ingram, Team Pharrell member Hannah Huston, and Team Adam members Laith al-Saadi and Shalyah Fearing.
