Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” Erupts As Country Radio’s Most Added; Chris Stapleton Follows

Florida Georgia Line [ACCA | FOX]

Picked up by a whopping 99 Mediabase-monitored stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact, Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.” earns the country radio format’s most added honor.

The news epitomizes the word predictable; there was no way the lead single from Florida Georgia Line’s next album was going to receive a less than stellar welcome from country programmers.

It was not, however, the only song to post a strong add count this week. Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute,” which ranks as second on the add board, received pickups from 57 Mediabase-monitored stations this week. It was also making its official impact.

Chris Janson’s new “Holdin’ Her” takes third with 30 adds, while Parmalee’s “Roots” (29 adds) and Zac Brown Band’s “Castaway” (26 adds) respectively take fourth- and fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable country radio options: Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me” (17 adds, 6th), Kelsea Ballerini’s “Peter Pan” (11 adds, 7th), Kane Brown’s “Used To Love You Sober” (10 adds, 8th), Billy Currington’s “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” (7 adds, 9th), Jerrod Niemann & Lee Brice’s “A Little More Love” (6 adds, 10th, tie), Michael Ray’s “Think A Little Less” (6 adds, 10th, tie), and Tucker Beathard’s “Rock On” (6 adds, 10th, tie).
