Calvin Harris & Rihanna, Desiigner, Ellie Goulding, Melanie Martinez Enter Pop Radio’s Top 40

Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” is the highest charting of four additions to pop radio’s Top 40.

Spun 1,679 times during the April 24-30 tracking week, the new release debuts at #32 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

“This Is What You Came For” impressively achieved that spin count — and that #32 position — despite not launching until the sixth day of the tracking period. It did, however, receive “on the hour” promotional airplay on its first day of release.

Desiigner’s “Panda” also enters pop radio’s Top 40 this week. The reigning #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 rises nine places to #35 on the Mediabase pop chart; it received 1,386 weekly spins (+693).

Up eleven places, Ellie Goulding’s “Army” earns #38 on this week’s chart. It was played 1,224 times during the tracking week (+691).

Melanie Martinez’ “Pity Party” is the week’s fourth Top 40 addition. It rises two places to #39 on the strength of its 1,105 weekly plays (+102).
