Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” Pacing For Pop Radio’s Top 30

The rise continues for Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better,” which is expected to claim a Top 30 position on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

The new “ANTI” single received 1,020 pop spins during the first four days of the April 10-16 tracking week. The count, which bests last week’s mark by 157.6%, slots “Kiss It Better” at #29 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Absent an obvious threat from below, “Kiss It Better” should have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking.

“Kiss It Better” is the pop follow-up to Rihanna’s “Work (featuring Drake),” which peaked inside the format’s Top 10. It has, moreover, spent the past six weeks at #1 on the rhythmic and urban airplay charts.
