Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez’ “We Don’t Talk Anymore” Eyed For Pop Radio Push

Charlie Puth [ABC]

While it is fighting for #1 on the hot adult contemporary airplay chart, Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away” is no longer on the active chart at pop radio.

Attention, consequently, is turning to a follow-up single from “Nine Track Mind.”

A recent gesture from Atlantic Records suggests “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which features Selena Gomez, will be that follow-up.

The label recently made the track available to pop radio professionals via the AllAccess delivery system. The move is not as definitive as announcing an impact date, but it definitely provides an indication of Atlantic’s mindset regarding the next Charlie Puth single.

The aforementioned “One Call Away” reached the Top 10 during its pop radio run.
