While Columbia has not yet revealed the song’s identity or its planned impact date, the label has finally confirmed that a new Adele single will soon be pushed to pop radio.
Adele’s name — and nothing more — appears under the “coming soon” section of the Columbia radio team’s weekly pop radio promo e-mail.
The selected single would represent a third radio release from Adele’s blockbuster “25.” Lead single “Hello” reached #1 at the pop format, while second single “When We Were Young” peaked at #11.
— Two additional songs appear under the “coming soon” section: Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song (featuring Jason Derulo)” and Zhu x Skrillex x THEY’s “Working For It.”
“Secret Love Song” has been listed under coming soon since the day of the 2016 Grammy Awards, while “Working For It” first emerged there a few weeks ago.
Both songs have garnered early support from some pop stations, but neither has been given an official impact/adds date.
