BoB & Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes” Certified 5X Platinum; Other BoB, Paramore Songs Also Certified

Throughout March, label Atlantic Records secured a number of RIAA certifications for songs involving BoB, Hayley Williams, and her band Paramore.

The most notable certification went to BoB’s “Airplanes (featuring Hayley Williams),” which earned a 5x platinum distinction on March 28, 2016.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the certification confirms a US unit total of at least 5 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

BoB also earned the following certifications:
3x platinum (3 million) – Nothin’ On You ft. Bruno Mars
2x platinum (2 million) – Headband ft. 2 Chainz
Platinum (1 million) – Both Of Us

Paramore also earned the following certifications:
Platinum (1 million) – That’s What You Get, crushcrushcrush
Gold (500,000) – Ignorance, Monster, Pressure

(Paramore also earned a 2x platinum album certifications for its Riot! and platinum honors for its Brand New Eyes and Paramore)
