“Mom,” “Scorpion,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Elementary,” Others Renewed By CBS

For CBS, Good Friday involved a handful of renewal announcements for the 2016-17 season.

The network formally confirmed that “Blue Bloods,” “Elementary,” “Hawaii 5-0,” “Madam Secretary,” “Mom,” “NCIS: LA,” NCIS: NOLA,” “Scorpion,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Survivor,” and “The Amazing Race.”

The shows join the previously renewed “The Big Bang Theory” and “NCIS” on the list of veterans returning next season.

Absent from CBS’ announcement are any of the network’s 2015-16 freshman series. CBS boss Les Moonves has indicated that he anticipates all — including series like “Life in Pieces,” “Supergirl” and “Limitless” — being renewed, but the network has yet to formalize such news.
