Backstage Look: Scott Foley Directs March 31 “Scandal”

The actor who plays Jake Ballard steps behind the camera for the March 31 edition of ABC’s “Scandal.”

Series regular Scott Foley serves as director for that episode, which is entitled “The Miseducation of Susan Ross.”

“Following the first Republican debate, Olivia is presented with damaging information about an opponent and enlists the Gladiators to verify its authenticity,” says ABC of the episode. “Meanwhile, David deals with fallout from his dating life, and Cyrus continues to work on his own political agenda.

In advance of the broadcast, ABC shared behind-the-scenes photos from filming.

“Scandal” continues its fifth season tonight with the Paris Barclay-directed “I See You” episode. Regina King directed the March 24 edition, which is called “Pencils Down.”
