Justin Bieber’s “Purpose,” which first arrived on November 13, is already triple-platinum in the United States.

The RIAA issued the new certification–as well as a retroactive double-platinum certification–on March 9, 2016.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s revamped album certification program, the 3X platinum honor confirms a US unit total of at least 3 million. One unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales, or 1500 track streams.

“Purpose” contains a myriad of certified singles; “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” are 4x platinum, “Love Yourself” is 2x platinum, and “I’ll Show You” is platinum. “Where Are U Now,” which appears on “Purpose” but was originally promoted in conjunction with Skrillex & Diplo’s Jack U project, is double-platinum.
