Hailee Steinfeld & DNCE’s “Rock Bottom” Gaining Pop Radio Airplay

Jonas Steinfeld [ABC]

Hailee Steinfeld’s “Rock Bottom (featuring DNCE)” continues to gain traction at the pop radio format.

The song, which was the Mediabase pop panel’s #85 song last week, is set to rank considerably higher for the current, February 28-March 5 tracking period.

“Rock Bottom” received 172 spins during the first three days of the current tracking week. The tally positions the song at #50 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

Given that the song did not ship until last Friday and did not officially impact the pop format until this Tuesday, it should accelerate nicely as the week progresses. It not yet clear if the acceleration will result in a Top 40 position on this week’s official airplay chart, but it is clear that “Rock Bottom” is on the radar.
